FFA232; Fundamental of 3D Animation: FINAL GROUP PROJECT

Image
For the final assessment, we were put into group of four to make a scene. For our group, we decided to make a scene in the store room or basement. Each of us made swords, sewing machine and a skateboard from the last assignment.                                                               GROUP MEMBERS: 1. Ahmad Firdaus bin Jamaludin (2016679436)   - sword 2. Muhammad Zulhairie bin Zulkarnai (2016679388)    -sewing machine 3. Khairul Nizam bin Khalib (2016679426)      -sword 4. Syahmi Zulaikha binti Azman (2016679378)      -skateboard LINK TO MY OBJECTS: HERE LINK TO FINAL SCENE: HERE front view side view  Perspectives: These are the objects that I modeled and textured.

FFA231; Mechanics of Motions: Portray Character in A Scenario.

Image
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii This time in this class, we were given both a character and a scenario. We have to pick them blindly too. For this act, we have to pair with someone. Each of us have to portray the character that we got and pick one scenario between the two that we got. I got the character indecisive which is already in my blood while my partner, Aini got the character leader. We decided to pick "people in a gym" as the scenario. Like usual, we have to act out the scenario only in a minute. So in this scene, I was confused and still thinking if I really should get in the gym but then Aini helped me. And then, I'm still questioning on how to start and Aini try to help me make decisions.

FFA231; Mechanics of Motions: Portraying a Character.

In today's class, we have to act as the character we blindly chose. From the character that we got, we have to think of a scenario and act it out. It is easier to act when you are already given a character but it is still hard to think of a scenario instantly. This time, it is an individual activity but you can still ask for a friend's help to show your character more. So in the class, En Ezwan let us blindly pick a card that has character traits. I got the character Optimist. We were only given 50 seconds to one minute to act out and not more. An optimist person basically will think everything will turn out great no matter how bad the journey was. To keep it simple, a positive person. *cringes* Here, i act out as an artist who's trying to make an artwork. While making the artwork, obviously it wouldn't look great from the beginning but usually the final result would be looking hella fine! Especially if you put your heart into it. Thats it for to

FFA233; Digital Ink & Paint: Perspective.

Image
On week 8, we learned the basic of perspective. There are many types of perspective that we can use in our artwork or illustration to add depth and space. Perspective will give your drawings three-dimensional feeling by having objects looking either closer or further away from you. Perspective has been a fundamental in art and very important. I've learned about perspective back in school and also in semester one yet I don't often use all types of perspective. There are 3 types of perspective which is one-point perspective, two-point perspective and three-point perspective. Three-point perspective can be divided by two which is worm's eye view and bird's eye view. In perspective, there must be horizon line, vertical parallel lines and vanishing point(s). In class, we practice these perspective by making simple boxes first. I prefer drawing the lines ruler free or digitally "shift free" so it looks architecture-ish sketch looking. And then we ha

For the second assignment, we practice on rendering and lighting in highest quality by using the same model from our first assignment. RAW FILES top perspective side front bottom perspective

FFA 233; Digital Ink & Paint: Shadows and Lighting.

Image
In today's class we learned how to have better lighting and shadowing techniques using Adobe Photoshop. I learned that instead of doing shadows and highlights in the same layer, adding them in other layers and adding effects like overlay and multiply make our drawings or illustrations more dramatic. I always tried to do these techniques in my drawings but its not as obvious as this work because we were already given scenes. I'll definitely try out these style of adding shadows and highlights in my future work. before after before after

FFA 233; Digital Ink & Paint: Superimpose/ Double Exposure.

Image
For this class we were given a practice on how to do superimpose using Adobe Photoshop. I haven't use photoshop for photo editing in such a long time eversince I was maybe 14. Learning this again I noticed familiar tools that I used to use. Above is my final result. After the class, I went to the mall and stumbled upon this green screen in the arcade so I thought this is a good chance to get a full body photo and easily delete the background in Photoshop. I remember Miss Sheila telling the class to overlay our photo with our personalities so heres a collection of photos that I used. My favourite group of friends (Acapianss) A photo that I took during the dusk.  Bunch of photos of things that I enjoy, like or find it aesthetically pleasing. My favourite kpop group, BTS. I mostly love plants, neon lights, photography and bright colours.
