Our final is themed Steampunk. I decided to use underwater concept.

FFA231; Mechanic of Motions: Week 1 (September 28th 2017)

Rope & Coil and Impromptu Acting Hi, the first class of mechanic of motions left me with shock because I never thought we had to do physical activities like acting and doing exercises with friends. Apparently this class actually will help you understand how different people or objects interact with the environments or different scenes. In the first class, we had two exercises which were Rope and Coil and impromptu acting. Unfortunately, for the first exercise I couldn't participate because there were only two girls in my class which wasn't enough people for the game. But just by looking at the boys, they had to make a group, stand in a circle and clinging to each other as if you're somewhere really high and standing on a rope. They were challenged to organize the circle by name in alphabetical order. If they break the circle they were considered lost or 'they fell from the rope and probably die'. FFA233; Digital Ink & Paint: FINAL.

OH MY GOD HI ITS FINAL ALREADY. Can't believe its already final week full of presentations, submissions and headaches. But here it is, my final work for Digital Ink & Paint. With the theme of steampunk i came out with this. My main idea for this work is obviously underwater probably because being on the ground is mainstream. Playing around with colours, brushes and effects has been fun with photoshop but I still couldn't get used to sketching on photoshop that's why I use both Paint Tool SAI and Adobe Photoshop. My work is 100% paint without using any superimpose.  This class in many ways have improved my drawing skills and more. The class was also interesting, fun and full of knowledge. Having a very supportive and great lecturer is also a plus too! I'd definitely miss this class and also my classmates 💕 RAW Photoshop file HERE

FFA231; Mechanics of Motions: Analyzing Characters.

On our last class, we watched an animation film to analyze characters. We watched Toy Story and asked to pick a character to follow. Chosen Character I decided to pick Rex because I remembered him the most and I thought of writing about him even before the movie starts. Rex is a plastic, green, Tyrannosaurus Rex. Traits In the movie, Rex can be seen as a really supportive character because he's always supporting Woody who is the leader out of all the toys. He is also a very determined and persistent character. Even if he is a Trex, he doesn't have a scary roar so he always practices to get better in roaring. In the first bit of the film, Rex tried to scare Woody but Woody doesn't seem intimidated at all. Rex is also a very insecure character. He's not confident with his own roar and he always thinks that he's annoying whenever he tries to scare other toys. Other than that, Rex is also an indecisive character from my observations.
