Assalamualaikum 🙆 So, on 6th of October we were introduced for the first time to use Adobe Illustrator. It was different yet familiar looking. We learned some shortcut keys and get a better understanding of the interface and then learned some basic things like adding texts and making the fonts our own. Then, finally we were given a task to trace this monkey. I never thought in my life tracing would be this complicated but at least I've got it done. The left one is the original one while the right one is obviously mine. I did a lot of attempts to reach the result that satisfies me. There were so many ways to do this, yet I don't know if mine is right or wrong. I had to trace every lines one by one using this 'Pen' tool. I did a mistake which is not taking screenshots of each progress so that's not good ahaha. Anyways, even though this is a little hard to get used to, it has therapeutic effect on me while following the lines. Would be great i...
Rope & Coil and Impromptu Acting Hi, the first class of mechanic of motions left me with shock because I never thought we had to do physical activities like acting and doing exercises with friends. Apparently this class actually will help you understand how different people or objects interact with the environments or different scenes. In the first class, we had two exercises which were Rope and Coil and impromptu acting. Unfortunately, for the first exercise I couldn't participate because there were only two girls in my class which wasn't enough people for the game. But just by looking at the boys, they had to make a group, stand in a circle and clinging to each other as if you're somewhere really high and standing on a rope. They were challenged to organize the circle by name in alphabetical order. If they break the circle they were considered lost or 'they fell from the rope and probably die'. These boys actually succeed the game and no one dies. Next...
In today's class, we have to act as the character we blindly chose. From the character that we got, we have to think of a scenario and act it out. It is easier to act when you are already given a character but it is still hard to think of a scenario instantly. This time, it is an individual activity but you can still ask for a friend's help to show your character more. So in the class, En Ezwan let us blindly pick a card that has character traits. I got the character Optimist. We were only given 50 seconds to one minute to act out and not more. An optimist person basically will think everything will turn out great no matter how bad the journey was. To keep it simple, a positive person. *cringes* Here, i act out as an artist who's trying to make an artwork. While making the artwork, obviously it wouldn't look great from the beginning but usually the final result would be looking hella fine! Especially if you put your heart into it. Thats it for to...
